I think I’d like to apologise for the use of the phrase manly man and for pulling the wool over your eyes with such a convincing story. It’s not actually me. This one’s actually a bit of a lie because really I’m not that tough. I don't cope well with messy or gory, and even pretending not to care about an imaginary worm makes my heart squirm uncomfortably but I think that's what I like about poetry. I get to try on other perspectives and explore the flip side of a story.
