This morning I ran a coastal trail that led me past a super fancy hotel.
They have a sign along their perimeter wall, right by the infinity pool, that reminds those reclined inside, that they love their hotel experience. I expect it's very much appreciated by sunset instagramming holiday makers.
I’m staying in a camper van, parked illicitly, in the overflow parking further up the hill.
I was grateful for the pitch with it's excellent sunset view but I was even more thankful for this new perspective on Milton Glaser’s iconic and oft borrowed design. The I love message is mirrored, reflected.
❤️ I.
We each have many yous to love and hopefully say it often, “I love you”.
We each have many loves. I ❤️ peanut butter, I ❤️ sunrise. I ❤️ my wife and son, I ❤️ my family and friends. I ❤️ New York.
How often do we get a wee reminder, like this, to love ourselves?
❤️ I.
We should each take a minute, two or three if we can make a window in our busy schedules, face a mirror and tell ourself “hello, there you are. I love you”.
I like this one. Share it with someone who should love themselves a little more?
If you want to support me, all I need is a little encouragement. Subscriptions and likes give me a wee emotional boost so please do subscribe.
I love you. I love me too.
Paul.
